Can you manage large scale programs in an expanding, multinational and dynamic company?

The Company

Our client is a multinational company, who has a worldwide market leader position within its field. In connection with the company’s continued growth in new business areas, we are now in search of a competent Program Manager.

 

 

The Job

• The Program Manager normally has the technical and commercial responsibility for the implementation of one major program with a high degree of complexity, a large number of project participants, as well as substantial cost- and investment budgets. The stages and processes of such programs may include everything from idea to approved product-/business plan and subsequently design, development, production ripening, procurement, production, distribution, and introduction. You will ensure that the individual sub-programs are coordinated, supervised and controlled continuously with regards to time schedules, finances, and quality. 
• You will manage and function as a sparring partner for the individual program participants, which includes ensuring a high degree of knowledge-sharing, motivation, co-operation, and enthusiasm within the group as a whole, as well as with other stakeholders.
• You will ensure continuous risk assessment and quality assurance of the programs.
• You will be responsible for the progress report to the management and external partners.
  

 

 

Your Profile

• You have a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. in technical or civil engineering and a background in electronics, mechanics, or the like - potentially supplemented with the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/MBA, etc.
• You have a solid experience with project/program management from an internationally oriented company within the consumer electronic industry, mobile industry, or the like.
• You can document excellent results from previous program management. Hence, you have an extensive understanding of all the stages in a program from idea, product-/business plan to design, HW-/SW- and mechanical development, procurement, test, manufacturing, marketing and distribution, etc.
• You are business - and customer oriented, and experience in partnering would be an advantage.
• You have proven negotiation skills.
• You have international experience and you have knowledge and experience with many cultures.
• You are outgoing and know how to co-operate with, communicate with and motivate your project team consisting of competent specialists within development, marketing, production, procurement, distribution, sales, etc.
• You are energetic and result-oriented. Following up on time schedules, finances, quality and agreed performances are a natural part of your leadership style.
• As a program manager you are business-oriented, analytical and have a clear overview. However, you also know how to study the details when required.
• You master English on a high level and have excellent oral and written presentation skills.
