The job
The HR Director (Underdirektør) will be based in Copenhagen with the overall responsibility for management and development of the Human Resources function within Aalborg Portland; including Unicon and other majority owned subsidiaries. The purpose of the position is the creation of value and synergies to the business.
Responsibility:
HR Development
Responsible for the HR development, in respect of employee competence and organisation.
HR Management and Administration
Responsible for compensation and benefits programs, reporting and controlling, HR legal matters, and HR process alignment.
HR process alignment
- In coordination with HR Partners, implementation of aligned HR policies and procedures
- through the coordination with HR Partners, evaluation and adjustment of industrial relations, including local collective agreements and other agreements for salaried staff and hourly-paid employees
HR Partner
The HR Director serves as the HR Partner for Aalborg Portland functions, i.e., all staff functions.
Internal Communication
Responsible for internal communication and knowledge sharing
Your profile
Your educational background consists of a relevant master degree, e.g. cand.merc. or similar.
You have a solid practical experience from a similar function in a large company. It will be an advantage, if your experience is from an international manufacturing company.
As a person you are:
- Open to different cultures
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Good at managing complex relations and conflicting interests
- Capable at problem solving
- Capable of handling reporting to and from ‘solid lines’ and ‘dotted lines’
Besides good English skills, you communicate fluent on a Scandinavian language.
