The KED Design Center in Roskilde has since its establishment in 2009 developed into Knowles Electronics’ leading competence center within analog, digital and mixed mode ASIC development. KED is specialized in high volume microphone applications. The design center employs approximately 40 engineers in Denmark and India and it is currently expanding.

The job

As Staff Engineer Analog Design you will be a key part of the analog design group, where you will work with design of analog and mixed-mode ASICs for OEM consumer electronic microphones.

You will participate in the development of new technology platforms and high-volume products, including all phases of ASIC development:

  • Requirements and design specification
  • System design
  • Analog and mixed mode circuit design focusing on low voltage, low power and low noise
  • Design evaluation

Your profile

We expect that you hold an engineering degree (Ph.D, M.Sc.E.E or similar expertise) within electronics, specialized in analog circuit design.

You have +5 years of experience in analog or mixed mode ASIC design, preferably within audio applications.

We expect that you have experience with or knowledge of most of the following:

  • CMOS circuit design and technology
  • Switched capacitor circuits
  • Charge pumps and voltage multipliers
  • Capacitive and Resistive amplifiers
  • PTAT current sources
  • Bandgap voltage references
  • Sigma-Delta modulation
  • A/D – D/A conversion
  • Low Noise – Low Power design techniques
  • Layout

Experience within digital signal processing will be a plus.

In addition, you are fluent in English and preferably also in Danish. On a personal level, we expect you to be team oriented, goal oriented, self-driven and persistent.
