The Development Department is responsible for the market leading platform for indoor navigation, MapsIndoors. There are 13 dedicated developers at the HQ in Aalborg, and we are looking for a skilled SW Engineer to add to their backend team.
You will be a key player in the continuous development of features for the MapsIndoors platform and your effort will have an immediate effect on end-users, partners and IT integrators globally.
As the new Backend Developer you will work with design, coding, review and test of features and algorithms for high performance web and mobile applications.
- Development of scalable, reusable and robust complex distributed solutions that are easy to maintain and easy to operate.
- Development of all server side and database solutions.
- Development of cloud-based solutions.
- Unit test, integration test and documentation.
You probably hold a relevant degree within SW Development. Either you have a couple of years of experience from a similar role or you might even be newly graduated.
We expect you to be proficient in most of these technologies/methodologies:
- C# and .NET framework
- Cloud hosting, cloud security and databases
- REST web APIs
- Docker or other container technologies
- Jira, GitLab, Slack
- Agile development methods.
Additionally, any knowledge of or experience with C/C++, Node.js and Google technologies is an advantage.
