Ambitious international Space Company GOMSpace is looking for a skilled Project Manager to secure efficient execution of projects for the customers and/or product development in the HQ in Aalborg.

GOMSpace has technology projects and satellite delivery projects, and you will participate in both types of projects. Your job starts together with the sales team making an offer on a project and it ends with a successful closure.
As a Project Manager you are part of scoping the projects and you establish and continuously align deliveries with the client. Your key tasks are to ensure effective delivery of the right solutions in the right quality, according to the agreed budget and timeline. Furthermore, you are responsible for motivating your team and performing overall scope management of your project.
Planning, budgeting and continuous progress is your responsibility, and you are the primary contact towards the client. You ensure communication to both internal and external stakeholders which is an important part of your job.
We can offer you many different tasks as a Project Manager e.g:
- Drive and lead the day to day aspects of the projects
- Customer engagements such as status meetings, gate reviews, handling contract change notices
- Subcontractor management on larger consortium projects, where GOMSpace is prime
- Handle the planning, controlling and reporting on the project progress both internally and externally
- Establish and maintain project documentation according to the project execution and quality assurance processes.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with proven experience and a great sense of ownership and drive
A project will normally include multiple technical disciplines such as mechanical design, hardware design, embedded software, application software and production, so preferably you have experience with one or more of these disciplines. We also expect you to have some years of experience as a Project Manager of complex projects within the high-tech industry.

You combine strong leadership skills with openness to input from colleagues, work to get the best out of your team and thrive with solving complex challenges. You communicate effectively on different organizational levels – both with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are fluent in English speaking and writing. Furthermore, you are skilled in project management tools as JIRA or similar.

Your workplace will be at Langagervej 6, Aalborg, Denmark, but some travel is expected (5-10 days a year). Salary and start date will be individually negotiated.
