Trackunit is offering this new role of as Director of Supply Chain to create and lead our global Supply chain organization. The mission is to contribute actively to the overall Trackunit strategy with a value-based mindset to supply chain.

We have grown into an agile SaaS- company and a thought leader servicing the needs of the entire ecosystem of stakeholders within construction. As our new Director of Supply Chain you will be taking the lead in scaling up our business and executing the strategy for supply chain on a global level, through innovation and the ability to think outside the box to connect the dots between Hardware and Engineering.

As our new Director of Supply Chain your responsibility is to lead the teams responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chains including supplier evaluations, sourcing, quality control, logistics, and inventory management. We want to continue to excel and take a front seat of value creation and that’s why you’ll join a senior Engineering leadership team reporting directly into the VP of Hardware & Product Supply.

We believe that a mindset with an agile approach to Supply Chain Management is a powerful variable for driving growth, taking market share, and maximizing value creation. You will also collaborate with the teams across Europe, North America, and Asia to gather input from the markets and intelligence about the current sourcing situation.

With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Kolding, and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Denmark.

What you’ll do:

You are accountable for all activities related to EMS management, all product, and services costs, product quality, distribution, Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process, including:

  • EMS-performance management
  • S&OP, including production planning, up to handover point to distribution (T- 2-4 wks)
  • Cost improvement strategy for EMS produced products
  • Product improvements and technical requests coordination
  • Module price negotiations, including regular MVA & BOM reconciliations
  • Customer order fulfillment
  • First point of contact for supply chain issues from sales
  • Customer quality assurance
  • Facilitation of technical and supply chain interactions for root cause analyses
  • Sourcing of key components and services, including
  • Key component price negotiations
  • SIM cards & Telecom price agreements
  • IT and Cloud services (e.g., Amazon Web Services), Google Maps.

Your skills and capabilities:

  • You have a strong track record of delivering business results, preferably from the tech or electronic industry and eager to join a dynamic and fast-growing SaaS company where forecast and scalability is key.
  • You are a leader by heart, having a value-based and holistic approach to supply chain as well as excellent people leadership skills.
  • You have a strategic and business-oriented mindset with profound understanding of supply chain as a central value driver for the company.
  • You can effectively convince and engage across the Trackunit value chain and with different stakeholders globally, while being a role model for managing external partnerships and collaboration with EMS partners.
  • You love to drive change and transformation and create results through others and with others. You do that by inspiring, coaching, and motivating your own organization to continuously develop a team of talented, best-in-class supply chain professionals.

Your background:

  • You have a solid experience with supply chain management, electronic manufacturing services (EMS), and outsourcing manufacturing, preferably from an international organization producing and selling products containing electronic hardware as part of their services.
  • A technical education at master’s degree level, ideally complemented by a business education (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
  • International experience and mindset is a must
  • A consistent track record of strong performance on hard as well as soft measures
