As Product Manager you are responsible for the product portfolio development and management – but do you have the skills to challenge existing methods and implement your own professional methods?

A few years ago, the company has undergone a turnaround and today, it is a solid and profitable company with a successful growth strategy within the green recycling industry, based both on an establishment in new markets and on expanding existing markets.
As Product Manager, you will be part of the commercial team. You are responsible for the product portfolio management – including product requirements specifications, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, and creating and marketing differentiated value propositions.
By having a customer centric focus, you have the key fundamentals to create a competitive product and pricing strategy for the future. This includes exploring, monitoring and achieving customer and competitor insights – daily business and life, use cases, challenges, needs, requirements, trends, etc. of customers.
You will be part of transforming technical functions/features to concrete benefits for customers and develop and define differentiated value propositions to ensure dollarization of values where possible. You will provide qualified inputs to the Product Road Map and be able to prioritize these inputs in the most suitable way.
Furthermore, your tasks will include:
- Develop value propositions and value selling tools
- Product economic analysis
- Product portfolio analysis and proposals
- Driving the development of business cases
- Plan and drive product launches
- Producing commercial product presentations and materials
- Content responsible for customer technical documentation
- Organizing and conducting structured working processes (e.g. customer interviews, workshops, etc.) in relation to tasks and projects.
The position is based in East Jutland and you should expect about 60 travel days per year.
To successfully take on the duties of the role, you must have several years of experience within commercial Product Management with technical products in a B2B context.
You hold a relevant degree in business, engineering or similar, which has given you strong commercial business skills combined with great technical understanding.
You have a proven track record in developing value propositions and value selling tools, and a good understanding of financial metrics is also required.
As a person, you are very structured and hold strong analytical skills. You have global mindset, a result-oriented drive and you dare to challenge existing methods in the market to achieve better results.
You demonstrate highly effective communication skills and you are therefore capable of working effectively with people across organizational functions. You are fluent in both written and verbal English, and if you master the German language too, it would be an advantage.
